How We Do Our Work
- Basebuilding

We build a multiracial, multilingual membership from our communities. Members are the strength of the organization and make decisions on campaigns, strategies, tactics and organizational leadership.
- Direct Action Organizing

Where the people most affected by the problems at hand organize strategic campaigns together to win institutional change for our communities.
- Leadership Development

We work to expand the capacity of members to affect change through several leadership development programs including the DARE Leadership Institute: A program that offers training in organizing skills and political education, for new and emerging leaders.
- Movement Building

We work in coalitions locally and nationally to build a larger movement for social justice, to challenge oppression in Rhode Island and beyond.
