Stop Discrimination on Job Applications |

Many job applications have a box that says "Have you ever been convicted of a felony?" If like thousands of us, you have been convicted, you check the box, and too often never get a call back from that job. DARE is fighting to get "The Box" removed from job applications in Rhode Island. There are bills in the Rhode Island House (Sponsored by Rep. Slater) and in the RI Senate (Sponosored by Senator Metts). Join the fight- take a minute to sign on the online petition right now! |
