We’re so excited to announce our new Women and Nonbinary Members’ Group! This group centers BIPOC people and will discuss topics ranging from self-esteem and self-care to advocating for ourselves in the medical system and setting clear boundaries. We had our first meeting last weekend and will be meeting every other week, Sundays at 1 PM. Contact Deb to sign up: 401-291-7980

1-2 times a year we offer a free weekly class to members called DARE Leadership Institute! Leadership development is a crucial part of our work. If you’re interested in getting involved with our organizing, we encourage you to attend DLI. Classes start this Friday, August 18th and are taught by staff, Board members, and past graduates of DLI. This year we’re excited to offer two new classes on healthy communication and conflict resolution.
